Tarsus On Demand is giving Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) the chance to strut their stuff in a competition that invites them to show off their best Azure-based software solution.
The winner of the competition will receive a go-to-market strategy for their solution that will help them scale it up appropriately and unlock their business potential.
This comes at a time when a lot of small businesses in South Africa need plenty of love and support to kickstart their recoveries as the COVID-10 pandemic winds down, and life returns to some semblance of normalcy.
“The competition aims to help our ISVs unlock their business potential and scale their offering with Azure,” says Chantelle Ashman, ISV Lead at Tarsus on Demand.
“Our Azure experts will work with the winner to develop a practical action plan to take their offering to market and increase revenue through new customer acquisition. ISVs are pushing the boundaries of innovation to drive increased value to customers and we aim to provide the expertise required to roll out successful solutions.”
In the South African context, innovation and change is often driven by smaller organisations as they’re generally more flexible and agile than their larger counterparts. And while many SMBs have great ideas, it’s critical that those ideas are supported by an appropriate business model in order to take those smaller organisations to the next level.
Tarsus On Demand also realises that in challenging times, fostering a sense of community is a great way to support their ISVs. To that end, Tarsus On Demand has created an online community that encourages ISVs and start-ups to acquire new Azure skills and expertise, and to learn more about successful business strategies.
Additionally, all who contribute to the community get to network with other companies and individuals in the same situation, and share any lessons learned from the lockdown.
The great value of cloud
“Our goal is to help ISVs across the lifecycle of digital transformation, taking into account their business model, customer needs and vision,” says Ashman.
“As the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) of the Year award winner for 2018 and 2019, we can help ISVs grow their business by providing exclusive tools, resources, and support. We encourage ISVs to see for themselves the great value that cloud can bring to their business.”
To enter, ISVs must fill the following conditions:
- Be onboarded as a Tarsus On Demand partner
- Have an existing solution ready to be rolled out
- The solution must make use of Azure as a platform
- Agree to work with the Tarsus On Demand marketing team
- Receive communication from the company
The competition opened on the 1st of September. All entries will be judged by the online community, and the winner will be announced on the 11th of December, 2020.
