During Women’s Month, we will be profiling various women in tech here on Tarsus.Today. We will kick off today with Nunu Ntshingila, an amazing woman who is the Business Head of Facebook’s Africa operations.

Nunu took on the role as Business Head of Africa for Facebook in September of 2015. She has been charged with building the social network’s commercial presence in South Africa and the continent as a whole.

Serving in various positions at the agency, including Managing Director from 1999 to 2005 and Chairperson from 2012 to 2015, Nunu helped to turn Ogilvy & Mather South Africa into the powerhouse agency it is today. She picked up numerous awards in the process, including winning Business Personality of the Year in 2005 at the Top Women in Business and Government Awards, and the AdReview Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.

With over 20 years of business experience, almost sixteen of which were spent at one of the biggest public relations agencies in the country, Ntshingila has consistently demonstrated her expertise and competence in the field of public relations and corporate management.
