Epson Hardware product manager Nicole Anderson has shared some of her insights in a thought leadership piece published on Channelwise that’s all about the reseller opportunities created by the changes to how organisations print these days.

Resellers in the print industry, says Anderson, should rather be looking at offering their clients print solutions in order to “to reap the maximum revenues”.

This is because of how innovations like the cloud and the facilitation of remote working have changed the way people work with documents – now, people tend to share and work with documents online and print only the ones that are absolutely necessary; but when they do print, they want to print quickly and in colour, Anderson says.

And business is seeing print as an area that can help to reduce costs, which has lead to a rise in opportunities for resellers to bring more managed print solution options to their clients. This gives those clients just one provider to deal with for all of their print hardware, supplies, and maintenance needs, and the reseller the opportunity to offer more than just hardware.
